Low water levels

This year is certainly not following the normal pattern. The ice was gone at least a couple of weeks early. The water levels are lower than we've seen in the last 5 years. That means that a lot of the bays we normally fish early don't have deep enough water in them. Good thing it's a huge lake with lots of habitat. Just a matter of keeping up with where the fish are moving and hanging out NOW. And look out for the rocks! 3 more props to pick up from the repair guy...

The summer fishing has begun!



Wow - not good blogging on this site! We'll have to try to remedy that. The walleye are biting and the lake trout are between 20 and 40 feet now. The water levels are ridiculously low...
